okay, so i was just reading an interview that's in the general section, and they say not one word about coming to america to tour.
i'm really happy for the places that they are going, but it's frustrating that they don't recognize the amount of fans that they do have over here.
they don't have to do huge arena tours. i would love it ten million times more if they did smaller, more personal gigs.
but what i planned on asking y'all is if we can come up with a list or something.
or maybe something like what y'all sent oprah, but instead SEND IT TO MCFLY.

if you get all of your friends who aren't on here to do it, as well, that'd be ace.
this is just me brainstorming, so excuse the ungathered thoughts, but tell me what y'all think.

okay. so it's happening, boys and girls. we ARE doing this, but i need everyone to take part. once you read the letter below, tell me what you think should be added/removed/whatever. then, print, sign, and scan or photograph your signature on the form. then pm the signature(s) to me. ALSO, please tell me what country you are representing. THIS IS IMPORTANT.

get anyone and everyone you know who would love to attend a mcfly concert in north america. your friends, your parents, your boyfriends/girlfriends, you name it!

Dearest Mcfly,

"Hi" from North America! As 'representative" of this movement or petition, of sorts, I would first like to establish that I am the "Kallie" who asked y'all on the GMTV webcast if y'all were coming to tour in the States anytime soon. You probably don't remember, but Dougie and Harry actually answered the question. (Thanks, by the way. I actually jumped for joy and nearly had a spazz attack haha.) But anyway, they answered that y'all had no plans for America & part of that reason was that y'all didn't think that you had enough fans here to make a tour possible...Well, we beg to differ. :)

The following is a list of North American fans--separated by countries for your convenience. I actually began planning "the list" before the webcast, but instead of your answer bumming me out (OKAY. "bumming" means somehting completely different over here, you pervs), it inspired me to work even harder to get this list to y'all. Mcfly has so many dedicated fans over here--many of us, including myself, buy your cd's, dvd's, calendars, etc. off of amazon just so that we can further admire the hilarious and talented band that y'all are.

 We fully understand that right now is a really busy time for the band. We're all so excited about the new material, new label, and new you! You all seem so much more enthused and happy, and we're all so proud of your accomplishments thus far and those that we know you will continue to make in the future. You're focusing on the UK right now, and we completely understand that. Homecamp comes first; establish yourself well there, and then the rest of the world will melt at your feet...well, hopefully. :) But we still want y'all to know that you're DEFINITELY wanted here in the Grand Old US of A, even if all you do is smaller venues. I think a lot of us would actually prefer smaller gigs, but, well, beggars can't be choosers! We're happy with whatever you do and want success for the band in whatever way it happens.

We wish you all our luck and love for the future, and we hope you take what we said to heart.

and i agree, it is a bit frustrating that they can't come to the states...
they have sooo many fans here and i'm not sure if they realize that or not!

I like the idea, and I know it's been done before..It's just kind of a matter of getting them to see it, ya know? 

And it might take awhile to get a good deal of signatures...but we could do it.

i love how awesome it is with all these threads brainstorming ideas.
maybe the only way for them to consider a little tour in the US, is to send mail. 'cause they probably don't see all our myspace comments.

my mom said that they would see the different USA address, and actually take time to read the letter. [if you get what i mean.]
