There's a Fine Line Between Love and Hate [Het, Ch] {Chap 11; Page 7}
This is mainly a Danny fic. Looks like I've gotten a bit of my mojo back, and I realized that is it going to be seriously impossible to leave these boards.So here is my new fic, I hope you'll Read and enjoy.
Leah- Rae and Danny have argued for months. They go to the same school, the same parties, and the cliques they’ve been dropped into over the years are always together, yet for some reason neither can be around the other for more then 30 seconds. So what happens when their parents go away on a business trip together? Can they put their differences aside in the month they must live together or will they rip each other apart?
Just remember there’s only a fine line between love and hate.
*Also there will be reference to sex, drinking, and some 'adult content' in this fic. If any of them make you squirmish, please don't read.*

*Ready, Set, Go*
“Oh stop playing hard to get. You know you want me!” He yelled, as he thrust himself toward me. Telly laughed as I made a disgusted face.
“You’re such a conceited pervert!” I shouted toward him, as he continued to laugh with his goon friends.
“I’ll see you tomorrow, Elle.” Carrie laughed, as Telly and she walked away. I nodded in their direction, and made my way toward the front entrance. Teen heartthrob or not, Danny Jones seriously irritated me. I never understood why every girl wanted him. Trust me, I have to see him all the time, he’s not that great. Scratch that. He’s not great at all. I was excited about the weekend, when I felt a hand on my butt and someone beside me. I turned to see Danny grinning like the idiot he was, just looking forward like he’d done nothing wrong.
“Excuse me. Do you mind?” I fussed, he looked down at me, still grinning.
“Not at all, babe.” He said, continuing to walk.
“You best get that thing off my butt or you’ll no longer have a hand to wank with.” I said, pulling his hand off of me. “Do I make myself clear?” The smirk never left his lips. “WHAT?!” I yelled.
“You get so angry so easily, it’s fun to mess with you…and it’s hot.” I rolled my eyes and turned away sharply.
“You’re a jerk, Danny Jones!” I yelled through gritted teeth.
“And it makes you angry.” He pointed out, I groaned. “Love you too, sweetheart.”

“Elle!” I hear my mother call my name.
“Yeah?”
“Carrie and Telly are here!” She called.
“Send them up!” I yelled, just as both came crashing through the mahogany door, with iced coffee in hand.
“Here ya go.” Carrie said, laughing, as she handed me the plastic cup.
“Thanks.” She nodded.
“Are we going tonight?” Telly asked, referring to Dani’s party, causing immediate laughter from Carrie and me.
“God, Tell, do you ever not think about partying.” I asked and she innocently shook her head.
“No. It’s on my mind about 98% of the time.” She answered, completely straight faced.
“Then I guess we’re going.” I said, we all smiled to each other and yelled ‘Party!’ in unison.
We all started getting ready, Carrie dressed in light grey skinny jeans and a flowly purple top. Telly in light jeans, a white beater, and bright red chunky jewelry.
“You guys look cute.” I said, still debating on what to wear.
“Here.” Carrie said, holding out my Mayday Parade tee, and dark flared jeans. I nodded, and threw them both on. After another ½ hour of makeup we were ready to go. We walked out the front door, and decided on taking Carrie’s Nissan.

i have a car woohoo at last haha lol at it being a nissan
and i like the sound of that purple top
partay =] *is excited*
Danny is a massive flirt i wouldnt complain haha
but then again i wouldnt complain if any of the boys put the hand on my bum hehe :p

first of all, that danny is in for a rude awakening if he thinks he can get away with being that cheeky with me, i don't take that kind of thing from noone, not even famous pop stars.
second of all, i loooove that you've gotten me down so well, sometimes thats so hard to do but you've got it right away, it's actually just exactly the way i'd react and everything, your skills are amazing poppet.
he's in for some trouble if he's going to be that naughty with me around, because i'm not afraid to teach him a lesson -shakes head about-
i can't wait to read more of this, and see just where we're going to end up because no matter what it's going to be fun!!

And trust me, Danny's not doing it to be a flirt, he's doing it to make her angry.
It's seriously his main goal in this fic. :P

Lol. Yes, that is where I got the name for that chapter, I happened to be listening to it on MTV or something, when I wrote it. :P

Well that's good, thats why i picked you, cos you sounded so much like me, and the main in this fic's reactions were based on what i would've done, so I had to find someone similar.

*Unexpected Visitor *
At the party we all went our separate ways. Telly was sat at the table doing shot after shot with Bubba, the biggest football player in school, who happened to be dating Dani, drinking him under the table.
Carrie, drink in hand, sandwiched between two guys, dancing in the middle of the floor.
I needed a drink, and headed toward the keg, and filled the red plastic cup. I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around to come face to face with Harry. Actually it’d be more like face to peck with him. Harry was one of Danny’s moronic goons.
“Hi Harry.” I stated hesitantly.
“Heya, Leah-Rae.” He greeted with a cheeky grin, as I saw his eyes flash behine me. Before I had a chance to turn around I was hoisted into the air. Being held up by a mass of drunken people.
“DANNY!” I screamed, “GET ME DOWN!” I was pissed. I could not believe he set me up for this.
I finally got carried toward Danny, who pulled me down into his arms, cradling me like a child.
“Put. Me. Down…NOW!” I said, not have the self control to look him in they eye. He didn’t let me go. I pushed myself out of his arms.
“I hate you, you egotistical jackass!” I yelled over the booming speakers.
“And I hate you, you grungy ***!” He yelled back. I huffed and walked away.
I’m leaving.” I yelled toward Carrie and Telly who were now drunkenly dancing with four guys around them. They nodded, and I started on my way home. I knew it was a bit of an overreaction, but he’d killed my mood, and I was pissed off. I really didn’t want to share the irritation.

I woke up the next morning to the smell of bacon and pancakes wayfaring through my room. I rolled myself out of bed and threw on a pair of dark denim shorts and made my way downstairs.
“Hey mom.”
“Hello darling. Good Morning.” She replied cheerily.
“Alright…who died?” I asked, she never makes breakfast. Unless you count poptarts and cereal.
“What do you mean, love?” She asked, and I scoffed. She sighed and set down her spatula. “My company is sending me away for a month with a partner.” She replied and I nodded.
“And where is the bad news in that statement?” The doorbell rang loudly and my mom walked off to answer it. I stayed at the oak table, picking at my manicure, when I heard a more then unwelcome voice.
“Lookin hot Murray.” I turned to see Danny, looking up and down at my apparel.
“WHY IS HE HERE?” I asked harshly.
“Leah-Rae!”
“Daniel!” Our parents scolded us at the same time.
“Melanie, here, is my business partner, so while we’re away Danny will be staying here with you.” My mom said calmly.
“What?!” We both yelled, our mothers covered their ears.
“Frankly Daniel, you’re not responsible enough, and I trust Elle to keep the house in tact if you leave the stove on” I laughed,
“Yeah, Daniel.” and mocked.
“And Danny’s here to protect you if anything dangerous were to happen.” That caused Danny to smirk, and flex his muscles.
“Yeah right! I could take Danny down.” I emphasized.
“Could not.” He argued. “You wanna bet?” I challenged, he nodded.
“Yeah.” I smirked, and ran at him full speed tackling him to the ground. We wrestled around for about five minutes. He continuously tried to get me in a head lock but I bit his sides until he screamed.
“STOP!” His mother yelled. We froze and looked up. Our mothers started laughing, we were quite a sight. He had both of my legs, conveniently wrapped around his back, and I had his curls in my hands and my teeth around his left shoulder. He quickly took my moment of weakness and flipped me over, pinning me to the floor, one left in his hands and the other beneath him.
“Still think I couldn’t protect you?” He asked. I quickly raised an eyebrow and flipped my leg, straddling him, pinning his arms to his sides.
“No.”
