Hi Guys,

Its been a long long time since I was on these boards with my daughter arranging the Mcfly charity gig in Manchester.

Once again for everyone who helped and either played, organised or donated. THANK YOU.

I was lucky enough to meet up with the band lback stage at the Birmingham OFTR signing last month and had a good chat to the guys especially Harry. He was so grateful to us for what we did. We handed over the final cheque for the money raised.

Due to the fact that harry and the guys were really amazed at the lengths mcfly fans go to support the guys, I thought it would be brill to start a proper tribute band./

maybe even 2 or 3 in different areas.

i am a drummer and would need, lead, rythem and bass guitarists. Also we would need a keyboard player for some of the newer songs.

The idea will be to carry on with the Mission Mcfly charity gigs and then look to do some local gigs.

Any one up for it??????

I would, if I could play guitar properly; I have one, it's the whole playing in tune thing haha.
I can sing though?
And can play the keyboard if I have the music in advance to get used to

I think it'd be a fun idea though.

I can play lead/ rhythm guitar and bass this goes for most of all mcflys songs aswell im not a bad singer aswell just dont do it that much. I'd be interested in helping it's just the free time for me because im starting uni this year so could be a problem :/

We are also starting the mcfly tribute charity gigs again. Not sure if any of you guys were around for them earlier in the year. Harry was aware of them as the money went to his 2 charities. I met up with them and had a real good chat to harry and danny about them.

We are looking to do it bigger and better with the next 3 we do.

Mcfly songs is all i mostly play nowadays.....
Heck i am doing 'Walk In THe Sun' for my core performance for my finals

 I can play guitar and sing... at the same time!! :O haha. so I could do that for you if you like =] I'd prefer not to do lead though... as I can't. haha.

edit: and I'm quite good at singing harmonies too if thats any help... if I don't get in I can still help you with that! =]

Tbh, I could probably play rhythm on a lot of songs, just the age thing... Maybe next year
