Prologue
There was horror in my voice as I screamed loudly, my voice bouncing between the walls as a thousand copies of myself screaming with me. I ran, I don’t think I’ve ever pressed my body to this limit before, normally I wouldn’t have pushed this hard but I was in panic and it was the adrenaline running now. I just had to get away from whoever was chasing me through the dark alleys with the shadows as protection. If it was dogs or men, or men with dogs, I wasn’t sure, but I knew that if I could just take myself to the harbor I would be safe, I wouldn’t have to run ever again. Just a little bit more.
The piece of paper in my hand, that god forsaken piece of paper that had ruined it all, burned against my fingers. This wasn’t supposed to happen; if everything had worked out as we had planned I wouldn’t be here right now, running for my life. I felt like throwing it away and let the wind catch it, to get rid of the burning that spread through the palm of my hand, but I knew that if I did so, someone could find this. Someone who shouldn’t. I snorted through my panting as I made a hasty right turn. As if it wasn’t too late already.
Suddenly I saw a small light coming from what supposedly was a lantern and I knew I was there. Just a few more breathings now, just a few more steps, and then I would be safe together with my rightful family and we’d be on our way to a nicer, better place. Just a few more now. I couldn’t even hear the things behind me anymore, they had since long faded into the background. I focused my sight on the lantern which grew bigger by the second, and all my energy went straight to my legs to make them able to run and to escape. I was going to make it.
And then I fell.

ahh, I don´t know what to say, I´m speachless.
This can´t be good, something tells me that her life is going to change now, for the worse.
I loved it.
can´t wait for the first chapter, I can tell that this fic is going to be epic!
